Data processing
How Traxure handles catalog and account data, and the kinds of service providers that help us run it.
Last updated November 5, 2026
Where data comes from
Public catalog data from the platforms you connect, read through official APIs, licensed data providers and the platforms' public web pages. We never sign in to anyone's streaming account.
Where it is processed
Traxure processes and stores data in the United States.
Security
Each workspace's data is kept separate from every other workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and staff access requires multi-factor authentication.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers, under contracts that limit them to providing their service to us. Each receives only what its job needs:
- Hosting, database and file storage.
- Payments: Link, a Stripe company, sells and bills subscriptions as the merchant of record, as our Terms describe.
- Email: delivers the alerts and account messages we send you, and messages you send to our support addresses.
- AI assistant: what you ask in your dashboard, with the page you're on, your artist names and your plan and alert status, only when you ask it something. It writes the answer; we don't store the conversation.
- Text messages: your mobile number and the alert text, only if you turn texts on.
- Sign-in with Google, only if you choose it.
- Bot protection on sign-in forms, when a check is shown.
- Anonymous page analytics, without cookies, only while analytics is on.
- Advertising measurement with Meta and Reddit, unless you opt out: both measure eligible public page visits, and Meta also measures checkout starts. Our server reports verified trial starts, first paid subscriptions and paid one-time scans, using browser or ad-click identifiers and a hashed email for matching. Private workspace, music and card data are excluded. Each handles the information under its own privacy policy.
- Your browser's push service, only if you turn on push notifications.
Catalog data sources
Music platforms' official APIs, licensed catalog data providers and the web-reading service that fetches public platform pages receive only the artist and release identifiers or public page addresses needed for a lookup, never your account details.
Destinations you choose
Slack, Discord and webhook addresses you add receive the alert text you route to them, and nothing else.
