Does DistroKid distribute to SoundCloud?

DistroKid's list of the services it sends music to doesn't include SoundCloud, as of 2 November 2026. Here's what we can and can't say from that, and what to do if your music needs to be there.

Updated November 2, 2026

Short answer

DistroKid's own list of services doesn't name SoundCloud, and that list isn't split by plan. It ends with a line about smaller outlets, and no page we found says outright that DistroKid won't deliver to SoundCloud. To be sure your music gets there, upload it to SoundCloud yourself or use a distributor that lists it, such as Amuse, Ditto Music or RouteNote. You can ask DistroKid directly too.

What to do, in order

  1. Check DistroKid's current list

Open DistroKid's article on the services and stores it sends music to, because lists change. DistroKid also invites you to ask for a service you want added.

  2. Search SoundCloud for your release

Your music may already be there if you or someone else uploaded it. Check before you upload again.

  3. Upload directly if you want it there now

You can upload to your own SoundCloud account. Check that your plan covers what you want to do.

  4. Or choose a distributor that lists it

Amuse, Ditto Music and RouteNote list SoundCloud. Symphonic and Too Lost offer it as an opt-in, and UnitedMasters by request on paid plans.

Which distributors list SoundCloud

This is what each company's public pages show. DistroKid and TuneCore don't say they refuse SoundCloud, so ask them if it matters to you.

ServiceSoundCloud
DistroKidNot on its list
TuneCoreNot on its list
CD BabyNot on its list, which says it isn't complete
LANDRNot on its list, which names only some platforms
AmuseListed
Ditto MusicListed
RouteNoteListed; a SoundCloud profile link is reviewed before monetizing
SymphonicOpt-in
Too LostOpt-in; needs exclusive rights
UnitedMastersBy request on paid plans

Not on its list means the company's public store list doesn't name it. It doesn't prove the service can't deliver there.

What DistroKid does list

DistroKid's list names Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube Music, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, TIDAL, iHeartRadio, Audiomack, Qobuz, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, among others. Audiomack is a free opt-in once you link an Audiomack account.

Check it really got there

When your music reaches a store by more than one route, it's worth checking each platform yourself. A release can be live on one and missing from another, or end up on the wrong profile.

How Traxure helps

Traxure is not a distributor, and it works with whichever one you pick. If you have DistroKid Ultimate, Artist Profile Alerts already covers Spotify and Apple Music. Traxure checks your Spotify profile every 12 hours and your full catalog every day, and it also checks Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, TIDAL, SoundCloud and Pandora. It confirms a change with a second check, then emails you the before, the after and a note to your distributor ready to send. If you switch, Move Guard gives you your UPC, ISRCs and release details for the new distributor and tells you when it's safe to take the old upload down. Monitoring starts with a seven-day free trial.

Prices, store lists and terms were checked on each company's own pages on 2 November 2026. They change, so check before you decide.

Questions artists ask

Does DistroKid deliver to SoundCloud on any plan?

Does TuneCore deliver to SoundCloud?

TuneCore's store list doesn't name SoundCloud. TuneCore Social lets you connect a SoundCloud account to post and see analytics, which isn't distribution.

Does DistroKid deliver to Audiomack?

Yes. It's a free opt-in that needs a linked Audiomack account.

Can Traxure check my music on SoundCloud?

Yes. Traxure checks your releases on SoundCloud once a day and alerts you if one it is watching stops showing, whichever way it got there.
